Faculty of Multimedia Communications

The Faculty of Multimedia Communications (FMC) represents a unique type of higher education institution providing interdisciplinary education in media and communication studies, with visual arts and film.

Degree programmes at the FMC involve three stages: Bachelor’s degree, Master’s programme and a doctoral study programme. Degree programmes support individual student profiling by means of obligatory facultative and optional subjects.

Students are given a high degree of freedom to implement their ideas and develop their creative abilities. Many of our students and members of staff have won numerous awards at international design and film competitions. (link)

Studio of Audiovisual Arts focuses on the writing of screenplays, directing, photography, film and audio editing. Students fulfil assignments in individual disciplines and are capable of apply their knowledge and experience as part of film crews. Digital media are used in the process. Graduates of Audiovisual Arts are professionals in the field of audiovisual communication. They can work in TV studios, making industrial, social and educational films and videos, and in advertising.
